Hargraves will get back to RG ASAP. He had some good points, not necessarily which I agree with completely but it's a discussion point.

ffs friedman and his IQ 20 comments are getting tiring
"The Canucks are definitely, definitely looking at the market for both players and you should be prepared for all outcomes," Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported on the Saturday Headlines segment on Hockey Night in Canada.

"There's really three [options]: Neither gets dealt, one of them gets dealt, or both get dealt. That's on the table. I don't want to predict the likelihood of any particular scenario, but all three of those outcomes are possible."
Sportsnet needs to fire this guy for dumbing down the average IQ of mankind

Firing him wouldn't be nearly enough, Friedperson needs to be severely punished for his crimes against humanity.

Are you talking about the hair or the time he grew the Thornton/Burns beard? Or was it the moustache that was truly villainous? I mean I suppose it could be the under-bite and whenever he opens his mouth to talk or posts.....

So this WAS a thing.....but not a good enough thing. I agree with JR/PA on that one.

Farcical.

The only league power broker who would discuss a Miller for Mika deal would be the one trying to ditch Zibanejad.

I've liked Mika, his points totals, though not his style have closely followed Scooter's but he's owed $3M more than Miller before expiry of their current deals. He and Miller are the same age, who will be harder to dump as he ages?

Always see him as soft and distant at times.

He's getting a bad reputation in NY as a floater I've seen noted here and there.

He did have the one very, very solid post season.

Anyone else like that out there?

So the Rangers offered this garbage trade proposal and the Baldies didn't immediately hang up?

I prefer the Carolina trade rumour a few months ago where Pettersson was the piece in exchange for Necas + Pesce + pick. Not sure if this was real but apparently we were the ones who rejected it.
Necas, 25, has 44 points in 36 games this season and earns $6.5 million per year until 2026.

Pettersson, 26, has 28 points in 34 games this season and earns $11.6 million per year until 2032.

As for Brett Pesce, he is an excellent defensive defenseman and a legitimate top-four NHL blueliner.
Would anyone reject this now?

They shouldn't have rejected it then.

The Carolina deal was probably never offered and just another click bait.

Necas is a solid replacement for Petey.

No he isn't. He plays the wing and he's got two years of club control left.

Pesce's game has been cratering for two seasons and he's 30.

No way I'd trade Peter for that bag of shit.

I could care less if those dummy baldies didn't 'immediately' hang up the phone. Like there has to be a timeline on hanging up the phone.

That trade proposal is slightly better than the Zibanajed for Miller abortion.
