He can't sign til after this year. If he comes out publicly professing his love for the city and team he potentially weakens his bargaining power and takes the pressure off ownership and management to build a winner around him. He won't be flapping in the media about anything so all this is pure speculation and pantywringing.

He's been a fevoted Canuck to this point and I would expect he is offered a blank cheque to stay if all he want is a massive bag of dough (which is likely not going the be the case).

Teams don't let their superstars walk very often and this will be no different

'No agenda here folks'

Garland is an Olympian.... sure he is. Neglects to mention that they also got an 8 year boat anchor in OEL.

Podkolzin is a 4th line player...... and Mëds; Mathew Boldy was the correct pick and I said it at the time. Newhook would have been a better pick.

McCann and Forsling were traded for table scraps.

It's like when Dude mentions all the picks going out with Allvin, he's too ignorant to say how many picks have come in.

Listen Chef is making sure he’s prepared for all possible scenarios. In order to do this, one has to weigh out all possible outcomes. At this point nobody knows.

I love Gnarls Garland. Great score/pick up!

How bout OEL?

Or the returns for McCann and Forsling?

The only grinder he uses is for his meth. Dude could shove pool cues up his nostrils he's blown so much chrystal.

Regarding OEL a simple case of the good with the bad. LOVE the Gnarls!

Regarding McCann and Forsling the trades were disappointing although they were projects at the time of the trade, the Sedins apparently weren’t fans of the cocky McCann, he’s been traded a number of times. I was more irritable with the Forsling trade. That being said I was merely referencing how they were good draft picks, I believe I even noted I wasn’t happy with what we did with these “successful” picks.

You are super obsessed with Jimbro Benning. Outside of his work he’d give you the shirt off his back while your Gillis would hork a greenie on your alligator golf shirt.

I read something on Twitter today where people voted on the Canucks best GM and your arch nemesis Mikey "The Brain" Gillis was runner up to Phat Quinn

Strangely, Jimbro was not nearly as highly regarded

A travesty, the runner up is so good no other team cared to hire him after he was fired in 2014. Too good to hire, ffs we have the worst and most uneducated fanbase, idiots. Their brains got Shat on for being “runner ups” in 2011 on a team put together by the previous GM’s. Then he shits the bed the following 3 seasons. A better GM in his spot and the Canucks would have won the cup plain and simple. Runner up my ass, idiots
