After winning a Country record (non-boycott Games) of 24 total in Tokyo many pundits had Canada maxing put around 20 medals in 2024.

With today's gold on the river we now have records for most golds and most medals at 8 and 25 (1984 in LA we had 10 and 44 when Eastern Bloc countries were cast aside).

Pretty good showing.

26 now with a silver in the 800M.

The Canadian missed out on gold by .01 seconds.

Gave it a good push in the last 50M but was barely held off by the Kenyan.

Really solid Summer Olympics for Canada.

The Algerian female boxer Imane Khelif has now pressed charges in a French court against those who cyberbullied her on Twitter and claimed she is a man.
