I agree with the poster in question re Necas and would like to see a deal centered around Hronek as $$ s/b a relative wash.

This would offset the potential Pesce loss for Carolina as well as provide them some O from the D to cover for an aging Burns with 1 year left on his deal and turning 40.

I'd like to sign Lindholm and Bleuger and make Miller Elias and Teddy C's 1 - 3.

......and all of the above is predicated upon not only proper $$ and term to the players in question but also on moving EP11.6 for a haul allowing us to infill any other holes (size, shitty attitude, beligerence) that exist beyond Brock and Martin as top 6 wingers and (re] stabilizing the back end.

I'd also like to see Zadorov back but apparently he has already declined 5x4.5 so not certain where the end line in that negotiation would exist for what has been, career wise & for arguments sake, a 4/5 defender.

I get what you are saying and I would be willing to trade any player in the right situation but you would only consider this kind of move if you foresee the Canucks keeping Petey as a C. Some rumblings out there are the Canucks re-signing Lindholm to be the C with Petey moving to wing.

Of course all of this also depends on what Hronek and Meyers re-sign for.

I do agree that the Canucks could win a series against either of these teams and if Demko did not get hurt, the Canucks are probably still playing in the play offs right now.

It's some sort of a ponzi scheme. He offers the same player/picks to 31 teams and then re-sells the picks/players that we get back before they arrive.
