Is it me, or does Petey’s effort seem more performative than real? Does a couple of dekes straight into the guy’s midsection and promptly gets clobbered - skate back to the bench like, “See?!? I’m working harder aren’t I???”

All about the perception of effort - scoring is optional as long as you’re looking like you’re trying to score.
