Looks like Canucks made their best trade now for Quinn Hughes. Good pieces coming back from Wild. But the trade is the culmination of two regimes’ failure over 6 years to build a contender around the best player in franchise history. And now he’s gone from Vancouver.

Ohgren and Lekkerimaki have history

Yeah if this is the best package, it is still pretty good. Wish the Canucks were able to get her another 1st, but oh well.

It is all done now, time to trade Sherwood, Kane and Demko.

Zeev is really good. I'm not crazy about the rest of the package, but Zeev is a keeper.

Cap space is as valuable as anything with him on an ELC. If he can eat 16-18 minutes a night while not getting caved in stats-wise at an ELC hit, then there is an economy there.

As said Calpuke thinks the Canucks have done pretty well in this trade.
