Basically Dubois roughed up Hughes a few times in a melee and the calls and the response from teammates were...unsastisfactory.
Miller was hurt later in the period.

Yeah that was frustrating to watch. And I'm still not sure what Hughes did to be there anyway.

A simple off side carrying it in would have got Hughes back on the ice. The PP is pointless (no pun intended) without him.
In other news, Hughes is the only skater who realizes preseason is over.
