Sasson throws the puck into a crowd and it goes in off Josh Bloom's leg.

2-1 Peg.

20 year old Russian D has really stood out for me in the two games so far. Plays both sides, poised, good positionally, He's quick and mobile and makes a good outlet pass.

Romani makes it 3-2.

Canucks pretty much controlling the 3rd.

Alriksson moves pretty well for a 237 pounder. He's had a couple of decent games.

Baby Canucks go 3-0 in young stars tournament. Beat Calgary 4-3.

I was impressed with Felton throughout the tournament. He showed some grit today. He is sound positionally and has good wheels. Perhaps they snagged a good one.

The big Russian on D also looked very good and likes to hit. D Pettey was solid throughout.

Up front Sasson looks like a player. I think he has the potential to be a solid 3rd line centre, in a couple of years. Around the time we will be needing him.

Klimovich and Raty also impressed. Great puck pursuit by both of them. Lekkermaki was snake bitten but the kid has moves and he looks as strong as I have seen him. Bains was flying.

I was most impressed with their systems play. Everyone was doing the little things. Unfortunately each game they had one bad period but they came back both games. When the season starts they will have to learn to play for 60 minutes. A good start nonetheless. Now on to the real deal.

I appreciate the analysis (you too Megs).

I didn't get to watch much of it...

Good analysis @HW.

@Strangelove They do leave them up for a while if you want to whip through the latest one from today. I missed it but I might check out some of it.
