The first overall pick is an easy one for San Jose, but Chicago at 2nd overall has a very tough decision to make and I think it’s between defenceman Leshunov or winger Demidov. Tough choice, do you go with the horse - Leshunov who is a righty or Demidov who is considered the most skilled player in the draft. Him and Bedard would form a formidable line. The Hawks have two pretty solid young D-men in Korchinski and Vlasic but damn the Belarus D-man would be tough to pass up.
I think it's gonna be Demidov Chef, that kid is electric. I'd love to see him line up on Bedard's wing.
I agree. Apparently he’s more talented than Michkov.

I've always much appreciated your draft analyses Dude.
I know Slideshow Blob gives you a hard time, but it's far from an exact science.

.....feel old yet??
No idea if he is anywhere as good as his Dad - but I wouldn't be sad if we drafted him. Young JPP always wanted a Satan jersey, for the shits and giggles - but couldn't stomach wearing an Edmonton, or a Sabres jersey. And didn't feel right wearing another country's sweater.
Would have considered it if he ever played for NJ though...

Sharts moving up three spots.
Fuck is that ever an expensive price to move 3 spaces up on a crap shoot
No wonder the Sharts suck
I don't understand why you make that move until closer to the pick on draft day. Most years there are off the board picks.. quite the gamble that now at 11 the Sharks get their guy and couldn't have gotten him at 14
Could be that they really like someone whom they feel will be available at 11th but gone by 14th
