Told ya Tij won't make it past the top 5.

Guess we'll see, but if the Flamers want him they better look to trade up.

Tough choice, do you go with the horse - Leshunov who is a righty or Demidov who is considered the most skilled player in the draft. Him and Bedard would form a formidable line. The Hawks have two pretty solid young D-men in Korchinski and Vlasic but damn the Belarus D-man would be tough to pass up.
I think it's gonna be Demidov Chef, that kid is electric. I'd love to see him line up on Bedard's wing.
I agree. Apparently he’s more talented than Michkov.

No idea if he is anywhere as good as his Dad - but I wouldn't be sad if we drafted him. Young JPP always wanted a Satan jersey, for the shits and giggles - but couldn't stomach wearing an Edmonton, or a Sabres jersey. And didn't feel right wearing another country's sweater.

Would have considered it if he ever played for NJ though...

I don't understand why you make that move until closer to the pick on draft day. Most years there are off the board picks.. quite the gamble that now at 11 the Sharks get their guy and couldn't have gotten him at 14

Could be that they really like someone whom they feel will be available at 11th but gone by 14th

That’s much is obvious, but I think the discussion is why make a trade now until you know said player will be available at 11.

What happens if he’s taken at 9/10?

Exactly what I was thinking - seems like a panic move.
