Well sheeee-it fellas.
How much would you like to bet?
OEL wasn't feeling well, so they gave him the day off (still expected to play tomorrow).

We've learned that the Vancouver Canucks have taken Travis Hamonic off of his 'leave of absence w/o pay'.
He's now once again counting against their cap, but still at the buried rate.
Canucks have also placed Tyler Motte on LTIR giving them an additional $1.225M in LTI Salary.

Only #postcount McLinky would post that 3.5 days after the fact!Micky wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 6:28 pmCapFriendly

What I insist is that Rathbone is better on the left side then all other options not named Quinn Hughes or Oliver Ekman Larsson and is no longer with the team because of their cap constraints. No other reason. Doubt there's much he can learn in Utica Abbotsford with Trent's gang.Strangelove wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 5:56 pmOEL wasn't feeling well, so they gave him the day off (still expected to play tomorrow).
York Hunt is just a practice dummy.
Notice Burroughs on the left side there btw?
Like I said, he can play the left side, as can Schenn.
Yet you keep insisting they'll choose York Hunt over those two who are clearly above him on the depth chart.

Hamonic set up Di Giuseppe for a PP goal Saturday in Abby and was skating again Sunday.

What's dumb is trying to make him out to be what he isn't. He's an offensive defense man like Hughes. He's never going to be a stay at home only defense man or a penalty killing specialist. He wasn't getting "blown up" by real NHLers, (who writes like that), anyways. Sure, he was learning on the fly to some degree but by and large was getting better and without a regular partner.Carl Yagro wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 11:46 pm There's a shitload that Rathbone can and still needs to learn in the minors. He can play big minutes in all situations and also gain strength and experience... rather than being sheltered for 12 minutes a game and getting blown up by real NHLers.
Cull can at least teach him how to kill penalties so he can actually be useful when he makes his way back up here.
What a dumb take.
