The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Quebec slush fund recipient Bombardier warning against review of the F-35 purchase.
Bombardier has a few contracts with the the US DOD to supply aircraft.
How stupid is Carney? Lets not find out.
Did we miss something?
What was the outcome of the review?
A $19 Billion purchase order as compared to Bombardier potentially losing a potential $450 Million contract, a contract they might lose anyways once Trump gets around to noticing the contract is to a foreign company...
Stupid is not doing a review, unlike DOGE Carney is doing reviews before he takes action whether that means changing suppliers or sticking with the existing supplier...
Have to give applause to Carney and the Liberals for their recent actions. Drop the carbon tax which was the #1 item for PP to speak of. Jet off visiting foreign dignitaries to look like a prime minister.
Polls are showing the liberals could win again. People have very short memories as the liberals have made Canada bankrupt for decades to come.
The Conservatives better draw up new battle plans.
There is a Persian adage that, roughly translated from Farsi, reads: "Tell death to be content with a fever."... It perfectly exemplifies what our new Prime Minister, Mark Carney, is doing to Canada.
Carney marched in, unelected - behaving as though he was, it should be noted - demanding the highest praise for reversing the carbon tax that his party has used to economically crush Canada since 2019.
There is nothing quite so obvious as the fact that Carney is in a desperate bid to cling to power by attenuating or, in some cases, abandoning the principles and mandates that defined his party's decade-long rule.
Believing Carney is an insult to our collective intelligence.
There is something deficient about Canadians' reasoning if enough of us believe that the problem with Justin Trudeau's reign was Justin Trudeau, rather than the Liberal brand.

All politicians lie. It's one of the core tenets of being a strong negotiator.
I can only imagine what Polievre has been lying about. I think his lie is he actually believes he's a strong leader. He's softer than baby shit and Trump would take Canada faster than a Hungry Hungry Hippo with Plastic Pierre.
Submit or elbow's up. Courage, couldn't come at a worse time.

Quit buying American lies
Founded in 1998 by Conrad Black, a British-Canadian writer and newspaper publisher with a somewhat checkered history. sold to Postmedia in 2001.
Postmedia also owns the Vancouver Sun and The Province. They also own the Montreal Gazette, and multiple other newspapers in every province.
I’ll take Postmedia over the other sources in Canada that are in the federal government’s pocket.
