So this is the new digs huh? It could use some paint, maybe knock down a wall or two to get a little more sun in the morning, but otherwise, it'll do, quite.

Too bad about the old site. I was on there since the 90s, back when I was living in New York and my username was accordingly posed.

Well, it's a new dawn, it's a new day...now, what do we gotta to do to win a 16th game in the playoffs? This 15 and crash crap is an oldie and not a goodie.

I don't know what happened to Chris but it doesn't sound too good. I can only hope that the people who drove him off the net get bit in the ass by karma. I have been posting on both boards for a few years now and enjoyed certain posters from both boards. My favorite insider has always been HW so I hope she joins us and continues to keep those inside scoops coming. Still it's too bad about Chris.

Who would have thought that Central is now in the Canucks graveyard next to CHMJ MOJO Sports Radio AM 730 and Dan Cloutier.

I also found this new home through that topic on Calpuke -- yes, I also feel dirty -- but for the first time Calpuke has now served an actual purpose beyond being a laughing stock for the rest of the hockey world.

I was an on-and-off type of Canuck Central poster for roughly the last decade: moderatly active at times, lurking for the rest. Those who don't recognise the name Lloyd Braun may remember me as Xanthus.

It was a bit of a slap in the face to find my favourite virtual wattering hole closed so suddenly, but in fairness, Chris did run an excellent board for 15 or so years. That's a huge commitment, so if he doesn't feel like continuing, that's fine. Fifteen years of financial and time commitment is more than enough to deserve my praise and respect.

As of today, I'll choose to look on CCentral's closing as a blessing in disquise. Clearly this is a well run board, full of excellent posters. It's nice to see so many old faces from years gone by, and it seems like the majority of current quality posters have made the leap as well. The interweb's two intelligent groups of 'nuck fans merging into one -- I like the sound of that -- although, I THINK this place will feel more like home when one (1) more active poster finds his way here.

Together we are stronger, and all that crap. Thanks for the welcome!
