FA is a meddler.

If we have the first pick he will insist on McKenna.

I really like Stenberg but have to concede we would be foolish to not pick McKenna if we have the opportunity. I imagine he will return to college for at least one year. I also agree that FA will insert himself into that decision. After all, he finally agreed with a rebuild so I expect he will want a say.

Penguins handing the Oil their hats tonight.

Chinakov with his 5th in 12 games as a Pen.

That was a guy I had made mention of here in a potential Sherwood swap a couple of months back.

Wondered if he could have a Kuz effect on our top C @ the time is why....

When I saw that yesterday my first thought was damn, should have traded QH to Carolina after all.

I don't know anything about this guy - but starting to think Russia is producing tougher players than Canada. Would be nice to have this guy, Zadorov etc. to get through this rebuild.

6' 4" 220 lb lsd who was regarded as one of the top pro players not in the nhl until his arrival last year.

Older thus more refined than Buium at this point.

I'm one of those that wasn't overly impressed (as much as the homer announcers) after slowing it down.

Both landed 2 shots. The bigger guy already had the smaller guy unbalanced and falling backwards when he got the last shot in. A bigger opponent with more fighting experience could have easily knocked down/out Nikishin, who had his chin up and leaning forward.

Recall Podkolzin, who was absolutely crushed in his first fight so badly that nobody wanted to see him drop the gloves ever again. He must have learned how because in the last few bouts, he's won decisively. Man, I wish we still had that guy.

That said, Nikishin could end up being a tough out if he improves his fight game. We could absolutely used some of this for our charmin soft group.

Nikishins game is not a tough guy like Zadorov.

This was an anomalous scenario.

Kid is a hockey player....

Why not. That kid will remember his 21st forever. I don't think I remembered my 21st ever. Knockout vs blackout.
