Unless, the plan is to hire Frnkenstein, and turn all the spare partz into 1 3rd liner
Not the worst Canucks coaching staff plan I've ever heard.

I hope they dress Skinner, he lets in enough bad goals that they deem him unplayable moving forward and go on to suck enough this season for a McDavid exit as a UFA with zero assets coming back

So, are the Canucks planning on making cuts this preseason?
I was thinking this way too, until Hoglander was injured. Then I remembered why all these extra bodies are actually kept around.

That was a nice power play.
Also Cootes looks like a great pick hut I would still send him back to junior this year.

Agreed.
Except for the finish.
Which has been his issue (other than his watermelon head).
Only a few finishers on this team. And not enough dressed tonight to beat Stu Skinner.

Cootes really doesn't want to go back to Jr.

To my eye, I'd say Canucks looked like they outplayed the oilers in the second half of the game tonight. I like what I saw.

Yah first half seemed outgunned by the oiler roster
But 2nd half we kept digging and working hard, had a goal called back then made a good game of it.
Can’t wait for the starting roster to play..

Regardless when he makes it to the club for good, I’m looking forward to hearing the “Let’s Go Cooter!” chants at the arena.

We are discussing Morals over at Creeper's. This kinda fits
