Meh... some do some don’t. Todd had more skill in his left pinky than the Fake and was a lot bigger
I still think the Fake is nursing a sore shoulder and not sure if it will ever be right. That said ,hang onto him. He’s cheap labour and his value is low. Sell high like Iron Mike did with Trevor.
Yeah, I'd keep Jake too. He still has lots of upside and is a local kid, if he's willing to put in the work to improve his game, why trade him? I'd say Bert's and Jake's skill sets are a bit different though. Bert was bigger, stronger, nastier and had softer hands around the net, but I think Jake has a better shot and may have a higher gear (faster).
Speaking of my old buddy Bert, he came out during that Hockey Talks week and spoke about a time he battled some demons. Corey Hirsh and Theo Fleury have been champions of the cause, nice to see Bert open up as well.

Dahlen (31)
Demko (42)
Vs Bubbles Beloved Yzerman
Katchouk (40)
Raddysh (45)

Who's prospect pool do you like better. And where is Lind, Gadjovich, Lockwood, Tryamkin?
Benning - Genius (we have the best prospect in the world - Petterson!)

I see not one of top 50 prospects is a property of the greatest rebuild ever - the Oilers
Chiarelli has been GM of the Oilers one less year than Benning has been GM of your Canucks. Benning 5 top 50 prospects vs Chiarelli's 0 top 50 prospects
Winner winner chicken dinner

Rasmus Asplund is on the list. Dude must be having a meltdown.
As an asside how is Logan Brown not on the list ? He has Drake Batherson as the better prospect for Ottawa....please....

Pettersson - 17 goals 28 assists 45 points - 35 games
Asplund - 7 goals - 20 assists - 27 points - 41 games
Batherson the late bloomer had a great WJC. Brown was quite meh
Blobby must be losing his shit seeing 4 canuck prospects ranked higher than Tampas highest ranked prospect. LOL

Blobby is all good I’m a Canucks fan. You on the other hand said Asplund was trash. You’ve made a spectacle of yourself.

And any one of those guys could have been Canucks property on top of Dahlen.
Poor asset management in the Gudbranson trade !!!

Gudbranson currently an asset, playing in the NHL, no? Would you rather Griffin Reinhart?
Jonathan Dahlen is a beaut!

Maybe he is. Maybe he isn’t.
Both him and Pettersson are ranked high, and deservedly so, but the NHL is a big step up from the big ice of the SHL, and even more so from the second tier league Dahlen is currently playing in. We have seen plenty of highly touted Europeans and Russians come across and find the NA game difficult to adjust to.

Agreed.
As a Canuck fan I am happy our prospects are doing well in what ever league they are in but until they play 2 seasons in the NHL we do not know what we have. One thing for sure none of this make a genius out of anyone.
