Just Not ready

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Nothing says you've hit the big time like being the theme of a Jimmy Dore segment. Congrats Carney..

Yeah, this is the guy Canada needs, just after he thanks Greta Thunberg.

This is swirling around twitter this morning:
🚨 BOMBSHELL: RCMP SURVEILLED TRUDEAU DURING SECRET MEETING WITH ALLEGED CHINESE NARCO! 🚨

🔴 Justin Trudeau has been caught in a shocking secret meeting with Paul King Jin—an alleged Chinese crime boss and money launderer—alongside a Chinese army veteran with direct links to Beijing. The RCMP was surveilling the meeting, which took place behind closed doors near Vancouver International Airport between 2015 and 2017.

🔥 WHO IS PAUL KING JIN?

✔ A major figure in underground casinos and money laundering operations, suspected of moving millions through illegal networks.
✔ Tied to Chinese Triads and Mexican cartels, facilitating international drug trafficking and corruption.
✔ Banned from official casinos, yet managed to operate an underground gambling empire worth tens of millions.

🚨 WHY WAS TRUDEAU MEETING WITH HIM?

✔ The RCMP clearly saw this meeting as a red flag—so why was the Prime Minister even in the room?
✔ Why was a Chinese army veteran with ties to Beijing involved in this secretive gathering?
✔ What was discussed behind those closed doors?

🔴 THIS IS A NATIONAL SECURITY SCANDAL.
Foreign influence, organized crime, money laundering—Trudeau’s name keeps showing up where it shouldn’t. The RCMP had eyes on him, but will Canada ever get the full truth?

Yet people are still supporting the liberals - what is wrong with these people? And don't say Carney will make a difference - he will invoke the same policies under a different name.

I doubt he will even bother to rename it. Just same old same old.

I would really love to see a split and two nations out of our current one in my lifetime.

Very happy to hear Doug Fords glowing comments about Carney and how valuable his leadership skills and experience will be to the country...

The Ontario Conservatives under Ford just won their 3rd straight majority, the first time thats been done, and it will be interesting to see how much of the former Ontario Conservative vote will go the Liberals way ...

Also heard an interesting suggestion from Mulcair the former leader of the NDP who thinks Carney may bring in some star candidates from the buiness world to join the Party and run in the election ....

I see PP is trying to walk back much of his past critism of Quebec, good luck with that...

I thought Trump was spot on during his first term when he said that he would only hire the best and brightest which for the most part he did...

Until the best and brightest started walking away due to his chaotic and sometimes illegal leadership style...

Can't see that happening with Carney...
