Canuck fans who are over 58 have a better chance of dying by heartbreak without a Stanley Cup win than by Covid.

Well, I don't think he will die, but it will be interesting to see, if it goes beyond 'mild symptoms' if it affects his performance on the ice. Lung scaring could affect his lung capacity and his ability to play at a high tempo for long stretches of time.
Not saying I wish this on him btw.

1/5000th of 1 % in his grouping have permanent respiratory damage. He has a better chance of permanent respiratory damage because smoke from northern forest fires travels south (it’s a thing in the prairies) EVERY fall season.

I was a university lad when I joined Central, now I am a 50-year-old, decrepit senior citizen. Please Hockey Gods, let us have just one...

Hmmm, Columbus gets the player with a better upside, who is not coming off of injury, and the draft pick.theman wrote: ↑Tue Oct 06, 2020 12:47 pm Max Domi and a 3rd round pick (2020) to CLB for Josh Anderson

Make no mistake, Domi is mercurial. He started promising and then shit the bed; he gets to Montreal and has a great year before being inconsistent this past year. I suppose the background is that negotiations weren’t going well and there was a concern that Domi’s arbitration award (if it goes there) would be more influenced by the 70 point year and not the 46 point year. The potential for a bad award through arbitration was too much.
But Anderson is coming off an injury season that when he did play, he was a complete zero. Like Domi, he was good two years ago. Anderson brought some scoring acumen in with truculence. Coming off a 1.8 million salary and a poor case on durability (which is an arbitration factor) chances are good that he’s not going to get to big of an award if it goes that far. But there’s a reason for that.
I don’t have high expectations for either player going forward, but if one makes a difference, it’s far more likely in my view to be Domi. Win for Columbus.

Dillon was asked if he'd like to play for his hometown Canucks.
What do you expect him to say?
He's not a FA yet, it's not a rumour, and he's not coming here...
Caps sign D Dillon to 4-year, $15.6 million deal

Islanders sign Sebastian Aho to a two year deal. Second year one way.
And no, you're not reading that wrong; there are two (at least) Sebastian Ahos.
This is the guy they signed: https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/6 ... astian-aho
