The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Final election results :

Trump wins the popular vote (62.9 to 62.2) AND the electoral college votes (306 to 232).

Was in Portland Saturday/Sunday what a lovely liberal society, wifey and I actually walked with the Trump protest for a bit until it dropped us off at our hotel. Good times, love that city, don't think Doc and Topper would.

I got it from https://twitter.com/search?q=%23electio ... &src=rela" ... but It could just be a rumour. I may have jumped the gun on that one. I'm probably reaching to find a solution to all the violence being promoted by the loosers (like Michael Moore) in their attempt to have marshal law declared resulting in an extension for Obama. Having Trump win the popular vote might take wind out of their sails.

Looks like it'll take time to get accurate results. Even the numbers in your link (Corn) have changed so I guess we'll have to wait a while to see. I've noticed it's taking the mainstream media a long time to accurately post the electoral college results. Many are reporting lower numbers for Trump still. Kind of suits the aforementioned agenda.

Apparently 3 million illegals voted, and you can imagine who they voted for, and if you remove those votes (and they should be removed don't you agree?) Trump would get a big surge in popular vote results.

Trump protesters in Vancouver :

Wilileaks :

Remember how you let Obama "legalize"
✔Assassinating anyone
✔Spying on everyone
✔Prosecuting publishers+sources
It's all Trump's in 69 days

Granted, I do not know much about how the actual voting takes place in the USA, but surely this must be impossible?

How would you be able to vote if you're not a registered citizen?

I've worked as an election officer several times and we have a ledger where all eligible voters are listed. When they vote, we check their name in the ledger before they are allowed to cast their ballots. If you are not in the ledger you cannot vote. Granted, this is Sweden, and maybe it's a more anarchic system in the US?

Seems improbable though.

As for voter ID... In Sweden we do check voter ID, but there are three options.
a) the voter has a valid identity card
b) the voter is known by the election worker
c) another person, with a valid identity card, signs an affidavit and attests to the identity of the voter

The third option could probably allow for occassional voter fraud, but if this is detected the person who signed the affidivit will go to jail, so I doubt that it would ever become significant.

Anyway, I just don't see how anyone who is not eligible to vote could manage to do it. :|

That there option "b" seems a bit of an open door for nasty stuff?

Anyways; Stands to reason an illegal would have illegal I.D. Those little shops underneath the corner market..

Several states don't require identification before voting.

Well... possibly, but doubtful. You would have to be listed in the ledger to begin with. The election worker is just confirming that you are the person you claim to be. And if you are impersonating someone else, with voter turnout close to 90% in Sweden, the likelyhood of that person turning up is not insignificant, so it would almost certainly be detected. And when it is detected you'd check teh form of identification used, and when that is that one of the election workers vouched for you, this election worker will be implicated... The risk of getting caught is so great I doubt anyone would risk it.
Anyways; Stands to reason an illegal would have illegal I.D. Those little shops underneath the corner market..
But illegal ID is not enough! You must also be in the ledger as an eligible voter!
Otherwise you can waive that fake ID till you turn blue without getting to vote.

Now, from what I understand a great fear for illegal immigrants is to get caught and be deported.
What better way to get caught and be deported than hanging around various authorities, trying to convince them you are someone you are not? :eh:

Seems like a huge risk to take with very little to gain from doing it. I call BS.

Ah! And there it is!

The source is infowars, tinfoilhat-wearing Alex Jones's mouth piece for the alt right and Putin's propaganda machine.

I rest my case. :|

To register for the first time there are ID requirements, but that can be a utility bill, and if you are homeless, you don't need to supply any ID. Regulations vary by State, but partly a hold over from the voter registration days of the civil rights movement, ID requirements are very lax.

All proposed changes that require ID for registration and/or voting are always vehemently opposed and usually challenged in court by civil rights groups.
