Dude, it was even-steven. Both were throwing and connecting at the same rate. Didn't like the late rights by Bauer with the refs holding the other guy.
Also, Bauer was the one who was bleeding, most likely from his visor.

I don't think 66 would ever have caught 99 in total points. The game (and goaltending) were changing rapidly during his career and the dead puck era was a real thing.....but when you look at his production through that time, I tend to agree with any sentiments that he is the GOAT. As Donny points out, his PPG.....guy was incredible.

In 2023 Ottawa acquires Jakob Chychrun from Arizona for a conditional 1st round pick in 2023, a conditional 2nd round pick in 2024 and a conditional 2nd rondo pick in 2026. A year later in 2024 Ottawa then trades Jakob Chychrun to Washington for Nick Jensen and a 2026 3rd round pick.
This is some grade A level shit management by the Ottawa Senators.
