That turn commie red in the spring, drop to the ground so as to not kill the tree, fester and rot in the dank humus, frozen under the winter snow only to emerge as dirt in the spring.

A fresh new growth buds forth in the summer offering shade to golf courses everywhere.
Haha red is dead?

I Don't think it will be for long, people are beginning to wise up.

Fox News is doing a lot of good work convincing the world how far from reality the right agenda is.

The guy who put it up is from Toronto and he put a leaf pennant on it. Every time I walk by it I take the staples out and turn it around and staple it back on backwards and upside down.

If I had a Canuck pennant I'd glue it on over top of the offensive blue leaf
FUN FACT:

If you pee on a maple leaf it turns blue.

TRY IT!!!

Love the last line: Maple leaves fans are used to disappointment, but usually they don't experience it until the season is underway.

To be fair, they usually don't experience it until the second half of the season. The leaves usually have a good start in the first two months and slowly fade away...

It's "leaves" us. Jesus guys, how many times does he have to explain this?

I wonder why he leaves us too.

Leiweke also made the point that the leaves will continue to pursue “character” as well as players with good analytics, noting that “there are players we have in our organization today whose numbers are off the chart good and whose character is just terrible. I don’t care how good your numbers are, if you have bad character, you are doomed for failure."

Yes and then when challenged by the media the response from Leiweke and MLG was that he was misquoted, the comment was taken out of context and he wasn't talking about Leaf players specifically. He was supposedly speaking in generally hypothetical terms, trying to make a philosophical point  No one on the leaves fits that profile, just saying if they did he would get rid of them.

The back peddling was funny. He went on to say pretty much the same thing about Toronto FC.

The good thing is he has the balls, sort of, to call it like it is. If there are character issues with the leaves then Nonis has to find a way to clean house.

Just out of curiosity, why the hell do some of you care what they do in Toronto? We aren't going to act like Calpuke are we?!

Think of this thread as the 'kids table' when Tunafish comes over for dinner. It's a safe place for him that allows the adults to talk in peace.

Not like Cowpuke at all. Here we create separate threads to discuss other teams, we avoid polluting every thread that way, like they do in Cowpuke. And it's easy to ignore the trash this way  come on in if you want some fun but if it's tiresome, just pass on by.
