(and continuously holds it together)
... so yeah, it would follow there is no one above Him in this universe.
Hey man, you asked the question... and out of the blue I might add.

Sure, most things about the spirit world are unknowable.5thhorseman wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 7:35 am Maybe his god is hanging around this universe and is waiting for Judgement Day to reveal himself and put a stop to this punishment for sin nonsense. You don't know. God doesn't know. God's God doesn't know. It's all unknowable.
The most important thing IS knowable however.
But you're going to have to trust me on that one.

Nice imagination by the way...

No one in this thread said that.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2025 3:55 pm Interesting - God created himself. From nothing. That makes total sense. The logic is overwhelming me, I need to sit down.

Dude, isn't this an argument for intelligent design? Who chose the exact right rate of expansion needed to create planets, and thus life?Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 1:36 pm “If the rate of expansion one second after the Big Bang had been smaller by even one part in a hundred thousand million million, it would have recollapsed before it reached its present size. It proclaims the odds of extraterrestrial life. Until there is proof, it can not do anything more.
The odds are above 0.
Did you bother to listen to the Fridman podcast on this?
Do you believe our knowledge today is absolute and there is nothing more to be learned?

There is extremely compelling evidence suggesting Doc will be proven wrong soon enough.
Mars almost certainly had life. Not 100% irrefutable proof just quite yet but there have been chains of evidence that are consistent with organic matter reacting with liquid water, but...there is still a micro-percentage of the possibility that it was due to vulcanism.
Meh....that's good enough for this cowboy
