The thrilla in Manila lost the Gorilla.
Boxing is a joke. Guys like Mëds are big fans of the Paul brothers and he has his tapout jerseys and rolls with the bar room brawlers in Old Crow.
Hargraves liked Hearns, Leonard, Duran, Hagler, Arturo Gatti, Mickey Ward, Cassius Clay, Frazier, Foreman, etc.
Guys like Danny and the Dude were loving Moondog Morretti, Bulldog Brown, Igor Volkov, Al Tomko, Vern Seibert, Dean Ho and the rest of the crack addled All Star Wrestling crew.

There are no bars in Old Crow just a museum and a store selling cookies for $25 a bag

No way you've been to Old Crow. It's a dry town, but there's still a way to get a bottle of screech.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 6:17 am There are no bars in Old Crow just a museum and a store selling cookies for $25 a bag

I've been there 3 times. I used to go in there to inspect and repair the fire alarm systems in the government owned buildings. They actually have an air raid siren system with pull stations on telephone poles all around the villageBlob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 8:54 pmNo way you've been to Old Crow. Re: Another one bites the dust
Ouch, that's got to cost, probably spent their whole gov. cheque on that vodka... - They've smartened up a bit, and now just pay the employees (mostly construction) of other companies to smuggle stuff in. They have chartered flights, and don't get regularly checked like the locals. Mostly don't even try to hide it, sat next to a guy who had a couple of bottles of Crown in his carry on.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 9:41 amJelloPuddingPop wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 8:00 amBut plenty of mouthwash, hand sanitizer and vanilla extract.![]()

Yeah, seems rather hush-hush as to what happened.
I recall Rummy using the handle Greg Millen in the Summer of Socks in 2006.
Why the heck he chose that handle I'll never know.

That's a shocker. He seemed fine the last time I saw him broadcasting a hockey game, which was just a few days ago I think.
