Yeah, saw someone crumple to the ice there, but didn't notice who it was because the play-by-play calling didn't really mention it among the other action going on. Hopefully Hronek is alright.
When is this team ever going to have a fully-healthy roster???

Saw that play, looked like he crunched his shoulder forward, hopefully just a stinger - not a separation etc.
Looked pretty innocent, but he certainly looked shaken going off.

More than a stinger, it seems. Word his he'll be out for a while.

This season's Canucks line up just can't seem to get a break...

Man, that didn't look that bad!
I guess it's the same shoulder he injured last season

Great, our #2 defenceman that management signed to an 8-year deal has a chronic shoulder issue. Just... Great...

Perhaps this will force Allvin’s hand to bring in another defender. Soucy and Myers are struggling. Brainstorm is not a long term solution, while Desharnais has lost his job to Juulsen. Yikes.
Ian Cole was serviceable during the season, but was really exposed in both the Nash and Edm series. Sure would be helpful right about now, though.

Megs, any thoughts on who may be worthy of a recall? McWard? Friedman?

Actually it was the season before.....
He came over on the injured list from Detroit in 2022-23 and only played a couple games at the end of the season.
But that was my first thought.....maybe he has a fragile shoulder.

Could be worse.
Could be a concussion

The Vancouver Canucks have opted to bring up defenceman Mark Friedman while forward Arshdeep Bains has been assigned to the AHL’s Abbotsford Canucks.

Friedman was the right call in this situation. I'm sure he'll be relieved to get away from the goons down there.

It turns out he was playing through with a fairly significant cut with stitches on one of his legs I think I read.
It was why he seemed so shitty all of a sudden. I'd say he's the main piece missing from that back end, even more than Zadorov

Fair to say Allvin has been somewhat quietly hunting for a top-4 addition for at least a month. This latest may expedite whatever plans they may have brewing.
