So, Biega is on detroits top pairing...
So he’s a top pairing defenseman now. Toronto will trade a 1st and a prospect for him in the morning.

The #Oilers have acquired defenceman Mike Green from the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for forward Kyle Brodziak & a conditional draft pick in either 2020 or 2021.

Conditions on the Green deal are as follows:
DET gets a 4th in 2020. It turns into a 3rd in 2021 if EDM gets to Conference Final, and he plays in half of games.

.Devils retain 50 percent of Simmonds' $5M-salary/cap hit. There's no extension in place with Buffalo for the pending UFA but it's a possibility before July 1 depending on how he performs with the Sabres.
