Huh?

It's extremely vague but it's not like he's out there doing a TED Talk.

The terminology sounds to me like pretty standard leftist rhetoric; the idea is that community-level organizing and mutual aid fills the vacuum created by the state's failure to fulfill its normal obligations.

If that happens, the state has significantly less "soft power" than it had before, since a big part of the social contract is that we all agree to be ruled by the state because it accomplishes things that benefit the public.

My key takeaways are the illusion of choice mattering for voters as well as questioning why the fuck aid is being sent to an economic powerhouse with zero moral fabric in Israel.

I thought the real problem is Venezuela's heavy crude is too costly to refine. With the low price of oil these days it's not even break-even.

From what I know, the infrastructure is a disaster. It isn't a case of going in and turning on the keys and taps. It is a complete rebuild. Nothing hybrid about it. It has been run into the ground.
