The sinking ships last ditch efforts to save the seasonStrangelove wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 4:27 pm A flurry of trades in the last hour or so...
Calgary trades Frolik to Buffalo for a 2020 4th round pick.
Buffalo trades Scandella to Montreal for a 2020 4th round pick.
Montreal trades Mike Reilly to Ottawa for Andrew Sturtz and a 2021 5th round pick.
Not sure if Frolik will fit-in in Buffalo, he doesn't seem like a hookers'nblow kinda guy.

Seems more like shipping a disgruntled player while there was a market. Frolik has a bit of history of not being happy with his playing time in Calgary.

All about cap space. Treliving said it was all about clearing room for another move they want to make.
Now if we could move Ericksson and Beartschi.....

“Gorfs” ??? I think it’s a good signing for them. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. They have a good chunk of cap space. The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 9:01 am The Gorfs sign Kovalchuk for 700k (2 way)

Ya, maybe. Probably take a complete buy-out though. Let me put (ya maybe) into perspective; The E-man gives the A-man the numberRichardstroker69 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 9:26 amI’m thinking eriksson retires this summer.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 1:13 am All about cap space. to his Swiss bank account. Voilà, home made compliance buy-out that the B-man knows nothing about, hence the term "Poetic Justice"

The official suspension video leaves a bit out.
