Yes. And sea water temperatures have risen more than the air temperature that we measure. That's why the coral reefs are in such poor shape.
So a lot of the global warming is going under the radar thus far.

The smoke is insulating the heat nicely today.
Warmest day of the year.....yet still only high 20's.

Been a hazy few days up here in Jasper. Blood red sun yesterday evening and again this morning due to smoke drifting down from the NWT. There a huge village of ATCOs in town, kids playing between them and bikes everywhere. Half the town is normal and the rest is cranes and concrete structures. Looks like a long way to go yet.
You say there's smoke back home in Van area? I saw something about a fire started in Manning.
