Why should we be so surprised regarding Sprong. I worry about Allvin and Rutherford’s ignorance regarding the book on players, they seem to feel they can make players better here under Tocchet. Fuck the reclamation projects, read the fucking book on players oncr in while, trust the word on the street, ffs. Complete waste of time and money.

Surprised?
Anyway.
100% disagree.
A very inexpensive signing for a guy that has offensive skill and can skate (both of which we needed) and has scored at a fairly consistent level in the league, but also a player with whom Tocchet has history with so not a complete shot in the dark as you imply.
Didn't work.
They cut bait and moved on.
Whether it's hockey, banking, construction or tiddlywinks.
That's Management.
Administration of process in an effort to improve productivity, teamwork & fill holes to improve while achieving end result goals.
Didn't work.
Next.
(Plus they'll gain ROI in the form of a draft pick out of the attempt).

The return is getting the 975,000 in cap space back I'd guess.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's $1.00

The return is apparently based on GP and statistical value.
Draft pick is in play.
Dude...if you want to discuss then discuss.
If not I'm good with that too.
I'm not going to click on YouTube links in response to my posts.

But didn’t we, in part, trade Podkolzin to make room?

Deleting dead weight helps in several ways:
1. Gaining cap space
2. Total standard contracts drops to 47
3. Adding a late draft pick
The kid didn’t work out. There are younger, more versatile players in the system, so Allvin moved him to an organization he’s familiar with.
Podkolzin was a player management clearly felt wasn’t on an upward projection and opted to unload. His impact in Edmonton has been much of the same.
Moving on.

Don’t rush letterkenny
Alvin doing some excellent cap management. Right now it looks like they will have huge amount of cap space to add at TDL.

And what major asset will they be giving up for that at the TDL? The well is getting dry.
- 2025 1st rd pick?
- Lekkeriamaki?
- Willander?

Agree on Lekkerimäki.
What is expected for Brock?
I mean we are home & need to create some offense.
Maybe your correlation is factual.
Or bring him up for a couple of games irrespective of Flows eta.

Silovs sent down, Young called up, and Demko took part in a full practice.
He must be close because they aren’t starting Young.
Lines at practice:
Suter. Miller. Lekkerimäki.
DeBrusk. Pettersson. Garland.
Heinen. Blueger. Sherwood.
Joshua. Räty. Höglander.
Hronek. Juulsen.
Soucy. Myers.
Brännström. Desharnais
Joshua back?
