Malkin out long term with a lower body injury.
Pens setting themselves up to win a lottery right when their talent level is extinguishing itself. You watch...they'll win the Lafrenyay lotto and be bettys pet for another dozen years.
LA has a pretty tough bastard in McDermid. He just corked Lucic pretty hard then had Milan hanging on a bit.
Tomorrows game isnt going to be easy this kings team can play

Did you watch that fight in a haze of smoke, Wiz?
I think the big, whiny bully was the one in red. It looks to me like a close fight, but Lucic definitely got the slight upper hand due to experience.
Good for the kid to take the dance right away, he absolutely held his own against a beast. Something Lucic's gutless teammate Tkachuk would never do. That's why I really respect Bennett changing up his game to stay in the league.
Milan sure can't take even a little bit of his own medicine, can he? That was a check every coach wants their big guys (and even little guys) to make (hint, hint Shotgun).
Sounds like our old buddy Kassassian got his life turned around. Is a married man now with a little girl and is off to a great start. He keeps this up, he should get a good contract in the off season, prob similar to Ferkland. Good for him, always liked him.
On a different note, former Nuck tuff guy Donald Brashear is working @ Timmy H. @_@ I always thought he was better than Gino (skill wise and with fists), Gino was a better team guy though. For what it's worth, Brash looks good though.
Oops; Just took it myself. Not-good. I'm in the orange.

NHL: Golden Knights' Zykov Suspended 20 Games.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW YORK (October 17, 2019) – Vegas Golden Knights forward Valentin Zykov has been suspended for 20 games, without pay, for violating the terms of the NHL/NHLPA Performance Enhancing Substances Program.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the suspension is accompanied by mandatory referral to the NHL/NHLPA Program for Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health for evaluation and possible treatment.
The National Hockey League will have no further comment on this matter.
The team sent the following statement on Thursday morning:
“We were notified by the NHL and NHLPA that Valentin has violated the terms of the NHL/NHLPA Performance Enhancing Substances Program. We monitor the nutrition, supplement intake, and overall diet of our athletes on a continual basis throughout our entire season. Valentin knowingly used a banned substance without the consent, recommendation or knowledge of our team. We support the NHL/NHLPA Performance Enhancing Substances Program and respect the decision here.”
Zykov sent the following statement:
“I’ve been informed that I am being suspended for 20 games under the NHL/NHLPA Performance Enhancing Substances Program. While I haven’t been able to discover how I tested positive, I understand that I am responsible for what is in my body and will accept this penalty. I want to apologize to my family, my teammates, and the Golden Knights organization and fans. I will work hard during my suspension to ensure that I put myself in the best possible position to contribute to my team when my suspension is over.”
