It's a completely different animal than Libya, Syria, Iraq etc. It's a massive, mountainous country three times larger than Ukraine and with triple the population, and it has been preparing for war with the US for years. China and Russia will help, how, I'm not sure. But Iran is crucial to both China's Belt and Road and Russia's North-South Corridor.
