Paying a guy that much to play behind Pietro and Parayko on the right side seems odd. I haven’t seen many RH guys who play the left side.

Maybe their initial discussions with the captain on an extension aren’t going well. He’s a UFA at seasons end
Probably Pietrangelo's agent spoke to Armstrong and right off the bat says the number starts at $11M AAV.

Think Doughty + Karlsson monster deals.

Armstrong says well fuck it lets go get Faulk.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

To me he is definitely top 10, maybe top 5. He’s Doughty without the flair and theatrics. He always plays on Team Canada best on best. Where has Subban or Barrie been?

I’d put both Pietrangelo and Parayko in the top 10.

He's over 18 months older than Barrie.

But why are you trying to turn this into a Pietro vs Barrie conversation? :?
Lol one guy is born in 1990 and the other in 91. Until I see a stat that says players born in Jan/Feb burn out and retire faster than players born in the summer, they’re a year apart to me. Pietro has played one more season of pro hockey than Barrie, regardless of when they eat a birthday cake.

Either age has an effect on declining ability or or doesn't.

18 months is 18 months... lol you should be selling used cars!

Doyle Hargraves wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2019 4:06 pm Wasn’t really trying to intentionally turn it into a Pietro vs Barrie. They aren’t comparable imho. It has been speculated Barrie wants to play here and will command around 8 million, not to mention some posters have lovers nuts for this player. I know who I’d buck up for.
Yes, we realize you'd love to "buck up" for Pietro.

Pietro will want a few mill per year more than Barrie.

So there's that.

Also Pietro is over 18 months older than Barrie.

So there's that as well. 8-)

To think the blues were this close to blowing it all up last christmas. Parayko could've been stolen out of there.

Why bring up that they are 18 months apart. Is that a thing now? They’ve played the same amount of pro years sans one year. Before today I’d never seen you bring up months when comparing ages. Do you count the months between yourself and friends or the years? Im assuming you brought it up to show Pietro had substantially more miles on the odometer but it was a flimsy point at best. But hey this shit is fun. Always know when you are getting angry because the attacks start. :P

First, Blob will accuse me of being a puppet or a sock or somesuch butthurt nonsense.

Then he will not acknowledge that brought up this age gap..."issue" and continue complaining about a mod attacking him.

Meanwhile, everyone else will continue to not care.
