I say let Don have it. Maybe he can get the 3-way tie with Mega Corn.

At long last the season mercifully comes to an end. I must admit I have watched more games this year than last.
I would like them to finish strong with a win. Nothing to play for, nothing to lose. Bang up the Oilers a bit if they can. Send the fans home with hope for next year
Don't care who plays. Although I would be in favour of sitting M Pettersson and letting Mancini, KK, Willander, DPetey, and Buium all play.
Horenk with a 3 pointer.
Big Petey with the game winner, from Debrusk.

After reading this, Cuz will probably have some sweet, lucid dream tonight about cross-country skiing with ladyboyz.
You might have to settle for silver. Oil are likely going to mail it in and save themselves for the (short) postseason.

I think the Oil can still finish in four different spots based on tomorrows games.
P1
P2
WC1
WC2
They need a win and Vegas loss (Seattle) to win the division for the first time in forever.....
Not sure they're mailng anything in...
We will see.

Injuring McDavid and Bouchard in game 82 would almost redeem the entire season.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Wed Apr 15, 2026 6:52 pm I would like them to finish strong with a win. Nothing to play for, nothing to lose. Bang up the Oilers a bit if they can.
With Draisaitl not expected to be ready until mid-to-late first round, I wonder if they sit McDavid rather than risk some nonsense happening in the last game of the year.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..
Re: GDT: Canucks @ Oilers Apr 16/26 @ 6PM PST SN
Vegas locked up the division.
Kings have Calgary and Anaheim has Nashville to close out.
Edmonton definitely has the easiest time of it.
Oilers losing in regulation and both LA and Anaheim grabbing 2 points puts the Oil in the last w/c spot which would give them Colorado in the first round.
Mc vs Mac in the first round…..not sure I like the idea of one of those guys going home so early or not. The league won’t for sure. I’m probably my OK with it provided its Edmonton going home.

Yeah Vegas won post post so Oil won't win their first ever PD title.
Either way with the options as you lay them out a mail in is unlikely....

A win and forcing the Oilers to play the Avs would be sweeeet!
End the year on a high note.
5-4 Nucks.
Brock with a plus 3 to avoid plus/minus infamy.

I just have the feeling this is going to be the most important game for the rest of the season.

Hoping for a good game to finish, what has been a slog of a year. Only missed a few games this year - and it has been like pulling teeth a lot of nights. Tough to keep the optimism high for the future for sure.
Would love to see Buium leading the defense in icetime tonight, along with Oghren, Rossi and Karlsson up front.
EP40 takes Douglas's place on the bench, and Douglas takes EP40's place on the 1st unit PP.
Coach this shit right Footer.
