It’s Dallas and a Southwest market. He would look the other way as long as the Cup stays in a southern club. The only reason he would cry fouls is because Vancouver is involved.

I think Carolina wants to make a high impact move. They have the assets and cap space, while the stink of the Rant fiasco still lingers.

Yeah...I agree BoS....that is a team that badly needs to take another step.

To much just about and not enough geterdun.

For the players and Brind'Amour.

Who...don't get me wrong...I have a ton of respect for....

...but it is meandering towards shit or get off the pot time for that group.

Maybe they would like to improve their net whole making moves.

With the loss, they are 4th from the bottom again. I wish they would trade a few Vets (Andersson, Kadri and Coleman), sooner than later, so they will fully embrace the tank.
I love that Conny is pissing around enjoying mushiocrity. The 14th O/A pick is calling!

As an aside...how is Hunter B doing in the system for you guys? Any sign of making the jump soon?
As of now, the Flames are 3rd from the bottom which would be a top 3 pick.

Hunter did get a call up but he was sent back to the minors.

Winnipeg is dead last. How'd that happen? We are driving a tank at full speed, and they still pass us. Bastards. But. I don't think Winnipeg can keep it up.

I expect Winnipeg to start winning some games.

Chevy may be making a move or 2, his job security may count on it.

Swapping out Arniel may be a good start....

Our schedule is tough this month...I.expect losses and even more injuries may rear their ugly heads.

Injuries this season are a thing all over the league, and the league (or, more likely, the gambling houses behind the spike in league revenue) would not take kindly to injury-related shenanigans, but I wonder if clubs like Vancouver are taking a deliberately cautious approach to player injuries in order to grease the skids on a tank? We've seen a number of vets rotating in and out for a couple games on a pop for various ailments.

I'm not suggesting anything blatantly unethical here, but I also don't think coaches or management is encouraging any player to 'play through the pain', and ostensibly taking precautionary measures to keep players from aggravating injuries in light of a heavy schedule would have a desired effect on the standings if one wants to sink.

Even if there were shenanigans on this front, not like I'd complain either. ;)

As long as they're not lying about injuries that are the basis for roster transactions (ie. salary cap implications) I don't see why the team can't sit any vet for any reason, whether the bookies like it or not. And triple fuck those guys anyway, while I am adjacent to the subject.

Sorry Cuz - I was wrong - Brz is still sticking with the Flames - apparently doing well. I don't watch any games (just check the highlights afterwards), so I don't fully know who is in and out of the lineup.

Sheldon Keefe leaves Marstrom in for the complete game vs Patrick Roy's Islanders

Markstrom 15 saves on 24 shots, 9 goals against, 0.625 Sv%

There's gotta be some great post game interviews on this one.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Mario Tremblay should troll Roy one last time with some sort of social media post to the effect of: At Least Markstrom didn't quit on his team.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Was just coming here to mention it, it hadn’t occurred to me Roy watched this spectacle with his own eyes - I saw Markstrom and Keefe’s postgame comments, now I have to go find Patty’s

Edit: they must have been scared to ask
