MLB playoffs

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

You've been gone so long I imagine you have a list.

Oh well, you're a Freeman for Scherzer.

Could be a helluva pitching match up today.

Yamamoto has been stone cold in the post season.

Could be. But they just can't deviate from what they've been doing all year and that is be pesky and relentless on offence and really good on defence.

Make their starting pitchers work. Make them uncomfortable by keeping the base paths occupied. Make their pitch count high and force their bullpen to come in earlier than they'd like to.

Frustrate Goliath with small ball and hive mentality.

Should be a good one.

Also, Whitecaps tmw. They were already a good team but now with Muller and guys back from injuries... I expect an exciting run.

As for the other local team, gotta see what happens after the quarter or third of the season mark. Should be quite telling by then.

He is something eh rats?

Did his job with the win but the dominating performance also gave the BP a good rest after using 5 pitchers in game 1.

Gausman gave it what he could but in the end was out dueled.

Scherzer vs Glasnow tomorrow.

See what Max brings.

Wow, I did NOT expect a complete game when the Jays offence has been so potent in the playoffs. They got some hits early butt... we going to L.A.

Hopefully the bats start making some noise again.

At least the 'Caps didn't disappoint...

Been a long time for soccer success since 1979 and the Village of Vancouver victory.

Unless you count the '86'ers.

Muller was a big get.....
