Summer McIntosh is killing it at the World Champs in Budapest.

Just finished the ultra marathon in South Africa.
38km swim, 1800km bike, 422km run in 279hrs and 30 minutes.
250km into the run she pulled her adductor muscle.
No word on final placing, but 380km into the final run, she was in 2nd overall, 60km ahead of 2nd place.

Both Felix Auger-Aliassime with an ATP event win in Belgium and Leylah Fernandez with a WTA win in Japan added to their overall professional trophy cases.
It was her 5th career title and 2nd this year while it was his 8th overall win (tying him with Milos Raonic for most by a Canadian in the Open Era) and 3rd in 2025.
With both Victoria Mboko (#23 in world rankings) and Fernandez (#22) winning on the women's tour this year & Felix (#12 in world rankings), Denis Shapovalov (#23) and Gabriel Diallo (#41) competing well on the men's side Canadian tennis is in as positive a place as perhaps ever in history.
