A once strong area in the Canuck lineup butchered by Allvin and Ruth in the name of fixing the D. The ole classic - bailing water out of one end of the canoe while drilling holes in the other end of the canoe.
A once strong area. Now the defence is top 5 in the league. Would it kill you to say that? Or is it more fun to gaslight the place?

It's common knowledge a quality D man will be moved out for a solid centre. The D was in shambles before Allvin got here. So was the pipeline and team depth.

Chef doesn’t like the idea of trading any of D - Elias Petey or Willander to fix our thin as piss Center ranks. I envision these two as a formidable pairing in the future. I’d rather off the 2026 1st rd pick and Hronek to fix it.

I'd rather we sat tight til at least January to see what the hell we really have. We just traded 2 centers to fix our defence. Let's not be going back the other way. And, please, let's not manage to end up with both a mediocre group of centers, and a mediocre set of D men.

If the Canucks stumble bad then they won't wait.

So so so so SO much pressure on 2 giant question marks in Pettersson and Chytil. Impossible to predict how this pans out. Either one of or both could have career years that could be 100+ and 60+ pts or either could suck again.

It's either division champs or lose the loser race to the phlegms again.

It'll be interesting, if nothing else

Aldo will go nuts. His spandex will be around his ears complaining about the lack of center depth even if the team is top 4 in the conference
