The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

You a Bruce Tramp and a Swiftie now Blob?
"Impeached" eh, lol...
I've always liked the BOSS. Not a swiftie unless I'm wiping my back after too many metamucils . The Dude has threatened two of the top icons in Rock and Roll in Neil and Bruce. He has an issue with Robert Deniro.
How does anyone not like the Boss? I’ve never really paid attention to his politics, but his music is top shelf.
DeNiro is an ass hat. Helluva an actor…..but an ass hat.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..
The De Niro vs Mickey Rourke beef was one of the best celebrity feuds in recent memory. That was hilarious.
I liked Springsteen's music in the 1970s, but I don't care for the newer stuff. I don't believe he came here on his endless Born To Run tour, it's about the only place he didn't. He wasn't as popular here as elsewhere; he wasn't on the radio much. The granola heads preferred to hear Dan Fogelberg and The Little River Band. Luckily, I was in the KISM Bellingham radio zone back then.
As far as celebrities and their political opinions go, they should keep it to themselves; they don't understand what is going on in the country, and the bubble they live in isn't real. But I can tune them out and enjoy their work without much effort. De Niro and Springsteen are among the best at their craft.

The Rising was Bruce’s last truly good album.

Yeah, I don't even know about that one, lol. For good or bad, I kind of tuned everything out and stuck with old music.

Born in the USA is a great album despite the title song. Bobby Jean, Darlington County, Glory Days, I'm on Fire are quality tracks. Secret Garden, Brilliant Disguise are good tunes. He writes a ton, has sponsored guys like Bon Jovi, Charlie Puth. He threw a bone at John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band. He is revered in the industry. He does a great cover of Jersey Girl. I saw him again last November and he didn't' disappoint. 3 + hours, the E Street band is tight. All the profits per night are split among the band members, nobody gets a dime more than the next person.
As long as it's not constant ranting I think having a forum to call out a guy who is behaving like General Aldo is fine. He is a dictator cut from the same cloth as Benito and Adolph. Shine the light a bit brighter on that fat piece of trash. He takes he bait every time and gets caved even more. Change your suit. I realize he's upper tier at Moore's, but he looks like he smells like feet, swass and urine. He and Bruceare around the same age, yet Orange Man looks like he belongs in a home. Kick his ass out of there. Get a real leader in there. Heel Spurs is a coward/bully.

It's The Donald or it's open borders, 54 genders, and constant wars Blob. He's not great for Canada, granted, but there's no good option, sadly. Kamala Harris was four more years of Blinken running foreign policy, we might not have survived it. I used to think I understood the five percent of what was going on that was above the surface, but now I think it's less than that. I try to refrain from sauntering forward with my political opinion for that reason. It's becoming a rule when out with friends, everyone is manipulated by mass media to hysteria.
Bruce also wrote Fire for the late great Robert Gordon back in '77, but the Pointer Sisters jumped on it and got it out first. I like the Sisters, but that was a dirty move.
At least The Don speaks the language of the Democrats' old working-class constituency. You know, kind of like the great playright and failed screenwriter Barton Fink.
"I have a project for you, Barton. It's a Wally Beery wrestling picture. Any ideas?"
I wouldn't have minded pointing one of the sisters
There's got to be someone more qualified and with more couth in that party to steer the ship. I'm a right leaning guy but also open minded. PP was a garbage option for the Conservatives. They would have been better off with Melissa Lantsman. Carney is as smart as a whip and a money guy. The schoolteacher was way above his depth. I would rather have Jean Chretien bear spraying folks while mangling the mother tongue than the Justin.
It's time for Stockwell Day to fly in on a jet ski and get things done.
Only politician I've ever trusted was Chuck Cadman.

Jean Chrétien is still the only Prime Minister I ever liked. Telling W to fuck off over his disatrous Operation Iraqi Freedom is the stuff of legend.

Saw him live in 85. Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, June 8th!
The stadium was sold out for two nights, some 127,000 people in total, and we managed to crack the foundation by jumping in unison. No more concerts there for some 10-15 years until they had strengthened it by piling down some 20 meter pillars through the mud to the bedrock foundation to stabilize the whole construction.
The concert went on for more than four hours. One of the very best I've been to.
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!
Except when donating blood.
