Maybe Friedperson asked them to trade him? (shrug)

Hopefully he gets a chance to play more in Nashville.

I'm guessing it's mainly because he sucked

You spelled Juulsen wrong was the winning comment.

Clearing space
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Because someone was willing to take him.

Dhaliwal reporting that the Canucks will sign Willander when his current season is done. His regular season ends March 8 and the Frozen Four ends April 12. If he makes it until the final he would get a chance to play 1-2 games before the Canucks season is done.

Actually just read that with the acquisition of Mancini who the Canucks are expected to assign to Abbotsford in the near future, there would not be enough playing time for all the RH shots on D and they didn’t want him taking ice time away from the others. It also gives him a chance to get back to the NHL this season as Nashville is looking to trade some of their RHD at the trade deadline.

That makes sense. Friedman is the best defenseman in Abbotsford so you can't really sit him out. As it stands righty D signing from last spring Christian Felton has only gotten into ten games so far and he's played really well whenever he has been given an opportunity. Now you're adding Mancini, it's way too much depth. The left side is stacked too, Layton Ahac has inly played four games, Akito Hirose played his eleventh game tonight.

They should trade Hirose too. He is UFA July 1st so get a conditional for him too.

Juulsen could possibly be the worst player in the league.

Wiebo...... your thoughts?
Juulsen’s lasting presence was representative of the piss poor defensive core ramshackled together by Allvin and Babe Ruth. Fortunately those two finally rose to the occasion cleaning up the mess they created, and with panache! Chef has been greatly impressed by Allvin and Ruth’s deft work in making the appropriate changes that are clearly, now that the dust has settled, been for the better. But yes, Juulsen by proxy got way too much attention that was not by his own doing but by the doings of some piss poor defence building by this new regime we have before us.

With all that being said, I cannot highlight enough, the importance of keeping your draft picks. D.E. Pettersson is proof in that. His development from the coffers of drafting has been key to all of this newfound greatness on the back end. We must hold on to our draft picks and not Willy Nilly them away like McDonald’s burger wrappers lying on the floor boards .....

Demko leaves vs. Maple leaves, injury not considered serious

Head coach Rick Tocchet told reporters after the game that he doesn't believe Demko's injury is serious, and confirmed that the netminder did not re-injure his knee.

Based on the way he was testing the leg in warm-up and after a couple of saves, I'd say it's a hip flexor or something.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..
