TY Smith is on waivers. There have been a few players waived this year who you would think would have to be an improvement on Juulsen but the Baldies just don't bite on anything. As I said, I don't really understand it.

How are those goalies looking now? If they play Demko against Winnepeg on Tuesday it'll be another loss. Trade off Demko for a backup for Lankinen. Canucks need to get Lankinen on a multi year contract. Silov can go home.

I'm with you on Lankinen, but they'll need to sign a quality back up as well. There's notrhing ready in Abby right now for the role. Demko's trick poplideus is ready to blow up at any time. Always will be.

BTW Sammy Blais is starting to get it going pretty well down in Abby lately. I could see trhe Canucks offering him a contract if he keeps it up. Plays a heavy game.

Juuls is frustrating. He defends reasonably well against the rush. Hits like a truck. Can make beautiful long breakout passes. Decent at getting the puck through to the net area from the point for a stay at home guy.
Then he gets turned around and lost in front of his own crease or is rushed into making a pass and dumps it onto an open opponent's stick in the slot.
Could be he may never see the game at NHL speed when it is in his grill but as long as it is out infront of him, he's fine.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Tocchet & staff seem to recognize Jullsons upside too.
I thought he was pretty decent last game.

We'll burn that bridge when we get to it

If not waiting 1 game till we are back home, I’m assuming he’s playing tomorrow.
I am he as you are he as you are me

I think if it can hold up to a teammate falling asleep with his head on his shoulder during the flight, I'm sure it'll hold up during the rigours of an NHL game.
Heavy is the Tarp...

Im perplexed as well and it’s been hurting our offense all year. I’m hoping they are playing the cap allowance, milking it for all it’s worth. We need more than just one guy IMO. Branner being a bright spot is such a hollow endorsement of this corps.Megaterio Llamas wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2025 4:32 pm TY Smith is on waivers. Yeah, even tooling around the edhes would be better than just resting with this group of blueliners. Even if not much was achieved it would at least demonstrate effort.Argay Ham wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 4:06 pmIm perplexed as well and it’s been hurting our offense all year. I hear Hronek may be back next game.
What's the bet Tocchet and Foote play him on another pair g from Hughes. It's what I've felt is needed since we got him even though he's complimented QH perfectly.
It's more to do with who we don't have than Hronek unfortunately

well, only if Horronek can carry one of the pylons or midget Ds then we just need to look for more depthsCousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 6:06 pm I hear Hronek may be back next game.
