I’ve watched it now and he’s making valid points. I’ve always been sceptical of voting machines as they introduce more things that can go wrong into the process, and of course a paper trail is a must. I like the way we do it here, voting by placing a ballot in an envelope, having the voter crossed off in the register, the voter handing the envelope to an election officer that checks that there is only one ballot in the envelope (there is a tiny opening at the bottom of the envelope allowing for this) and then placing the envelope in the ballot box while the voter watches.

Interesting to note, btw, that Trump won virtually all the states that use machines that do not create a paper trail.... :hmmm:
The only exception being Pennsylvania.

But it’s easy to remedy! In this election there was a very high percentage of absentee/mail in ballots. They create a verifiable paper trail. Void the results from the paperless machines and just count the mail in ballots! That way we can make sure there is no voter fraud that goes undetected. :drink:

Unfortunately comedians make poor investigative journalists. Take the interview with Stan Stanart. The exact same question came up in 2018, for which Stan gave pretty much the same answer:

This is not the Internet, this is a direct dial-up to another of their computers owned by the county. You're not connected to the Internet unless your modem dials up your ISP, which then connects to the Internet backbone. There's no ISP involved here.
