But if it takes like six months or more, a lot of companies will go belly up, especially those in the travel, hospitality and restaurant businesses. But others as well. A line of clothing stores has filed for banruptcy here in Sweden. They were already reeling from losing customers to on line shopping, but corona pushed them over the edge. Sweden’s biggest hotel chain, Scandic, has given notice to all their employees. And several air lines have let most people go as well. Once they have shut down, replacing that business will take time.

So, to sum up, if this is over in a month or two, or even a few months, the economy will bounce back in no time. After that, the longer it takes, the more real damage will occur.
