Only If we had not traded for Baertschi, kept the pick, drafted Andersson instead. I said this a million times much to the chagrin of Blobbee and his wingman at the time Island Nucklehead

Andersson is a good hockey player. I don’t remember any of this. I DO remember you being a massive fan of Little Sven though.

The Baertschi trade now officially becomes a "loss" for Benning. Clearly, he should have kept the pick...how good would Andersson look on our D now. If we had Andersson them maybe we don't have to sign Myers for $6 million.
The "draft expert" should have kept more picks early in his tenure and used them, instead of trying to speed up the "rebuild". Trading picks seemed a dumb idea then and looks even dumber now.

If wishes were fishes and hindsight wasn't so much more clear than foresight.....

Who knows if Benning would even have drafted Andersson with that pick? He might have taken someone else.....but then we'd get to bitch about that I suppose.

His early years were muddled by ownership and Linden. It's undeniable that Benning was not executing his own plan simply based on the abrupt change in approach once Trevor stepped down. Elmer was probably saying then, behind closed doors, that trading picks was stupid.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

The ghost of skullets' past is in a hysterical perma-rage about Mike Gillis and Kenny Holland. It really must have been a traumatic tossing
