Trymankin wants to return but has always said he won’t get serious about it until his KHL contract is up. Benning and his agent have kept in contact. But.....the KHL changed its rules around letting a player go when their season is up versus when their actual contract date is up. They want to prevent players from leaving before the contract date expires and getting into the NHL for 15 or so games plus any playoffs. Particularly players entering their ELC who could burn a year by doing that.

So Trymankin, if he returns, won’t likely be available until camp 2021, as opposed to the end of the season this year.

For Avtomobilist to maintain Tryamkin's KHL rights after, he has to fully let his contract expire before he signs with his respective NHL team the Canucks.

If Tryamkin leaves before that Avtomobilist loses his rights, so that's why KHL teams won't terminate a contract before that anymore.
The KHL 2019-20 season will start on Sep. 1. The regular championship will run until Feb. 27 and the playoffs will take place from March 1 to April 30
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

That is soooo true!
Okay I’m with Benning. So glad we stuck with him.
He may end up being a better player than Pettersson.
Benning and Green’s patience will really pay off.
I hope we don’t trade him. He is going to be awesome!

wink wink nudge nudge - he is sooo being traded - everyone keep pumping his tires so someone will bite

Next to Pettersson, Goldobin is the most skilled player on the team. Have put a lot into his development and looks forward to seeing him in camp. He’s gotten 10 lbs lighter, has gotten faster and is working hard to be ready for the season.
This would be the most interesting tidbit right here. It also backs up mine and a few others claim that theres more talent there than your typical scrub. Patience with goldobin has high reward potential if things go right for him/the team
The question is how much patience? He's going to be 24 at the start of the season so he's supposed to be entering his prime years. He had a golden (pun intended) spot on the top line last year and he pissed it away. I really hope to be proven wrong but I just don't see it with this player. Ive been on this bus from pretty early on. I think fans need to temper their enthusiasm with his natural ability (and jim's recent endorsement). Remember the fan base has also been goo-goo over the likes of Steve kariya, fedor fedorov and Jordan "the most talented of the family" subban. And at this point in time, where does Goldy even fit on this roster. As is, He's gonna have to have one helluva preseason to displace anyone on the top two lines...and perhaps the third line as well.

No I’m not!

I’m 53, you’re what? 49?

I may be older but while your on the wagon being a lame-o on the couch I’m in Portland getting gunned on local micro beers and Canabis. You suck now. Your wife is probably fantasizing about debonair party throwers like me right now while you sit on the couch eating corn chips

His agent was on 650 or 1040 a while ago, and said he wants to play nhl after his contract ends. It makes sense he’s a lot better on a smaller ice surface and he’ll make a lot more money. I’m guessing he’ll do a one year contract at 2-3 million and if he shows he can be a top 4 guy sign another one in the 4-5 range. Hopefully he’s worked on his English cause supposedly that was the biggest issue for playing with him, teammates didn’t know what he was gonna do, due to the language barrier.

Tryamkin is coming back, in a couple, cause Jim said so and I believe him cause his contract now runs through
that time period. 8-)

Not all goes well on the Russian front;

This isn't good. Vasily Podkolzin blocks a shot and is in real distress.
