Article from The Hockey Writers ranking the Canucks' top 10 prospects:
https://thehockeywriters.com/canucks-to ... s-2019-20/
One item of interest in this ranking is Hoglander (2nd) rated higher than Podkolzin (3rd).
Anyway, a long ways to go until we see whether these prospects turn out but, for now, the future looks pretty bright.
That is a damn fine collection of prospects i have to say.
Man...why isnt it fall yet. Cant wait

Actually it was his Moose Jaw teammates he was praising.

I think the often repeated phrases over the last 5 years of "we don't have sufficient depth" and "don't have the assets to do a meaningful trade" can be put to rest.
We'll burn that bridge when we get to it

There will be TV and streaming available for games but you will have to have access to TSN 1 thru 5.
I only have 1 and 2 cause I'm cheap.
I'll watch highlights,
late at night,
actually more like 2am
maybe
wtf, it's hockey
right?

2019 5th rounder Carson Focht is having a heckuva showing in the Summer showcase.

via canucks prospects:
It has been good to watch Carson Focht play today. He fits at the WJSS level pretty easily.
Speed, compete, winning board battles, solid hands, winning draws. I can see why he was invited.
Could see him make some noise at main camp in December.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

This Focht looks like a steal. It’s Benning, I’m not surprised.

Good thing Gillis put the team into a position to get him.

I can just hear ol' Mike Gillis quoting McLean and McLean as he signed the last of the NMC contracts.
"That aughta fuck 'em up for a while!"
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!
