Indubitably.
Kerfoot was the whipping boy in Colorado, as was Ceci in Ottawa.
Both fan bases despised those players and wanted them dumped with nothing in return.
Tuna says Kerfoot will be a great 3rd line C... I'd love to see him go state that on any Avs board.
Tuna says Ceci is a good top-4 D... I'd love to see him go state that on any Sens board.
Kerfoot has played very little centre... he's a winger mostly.
Kerfoot got half his points on the Avs potent PP and has never killed a penalty in his life.
Ceci serves up pizzas like they were going outta style.
Barrie has made it clear he's intent on testing free agency... which is why Joe traded him.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2019 11:32 am If the Leaves can extend Barrie at under 8 million it’s a decent trade for both clubs.
And Leaves can't afford to re-sign him anyway.
Most pundits are terming this a one-year rental... and they're right.
Meanwhile Avs get 3 years of Kadri and dumped a problem in arbitration-eligible Kerfoot.
Kerfoot was a classic pump-n-dump... sheltered with lots of PP time.
Unbelievably Leaves managed to get even softer and worse defensively this off-season!
They've got one thing left to do: Sign Marner.
And they've only got ~ $9.5M to do so.
I say they will trade one of Johnsson/Kapanen and replace that player with yet another plug.
Team Weenie and the Plugs.
