The Leaf cup dream is a short 5 year window
Will Arizona have a team?
Yes, thanks to revenue sharing!

Kinda ironic how Leaves will be paying bigly towards Matthews' contract when he's playing for the coyotes! Image
They lost 50 million with revenue sharing just last season alone..
Houston, here we come!

Tina, you spend a lot of time banking on the Coyotes leaving Arizona. It’s OK, we get your concerns of Matthews playing in Arizona in 5 years when he will be just 27
Figures I would since the commissioner is meeting with a Bilionaire to discuss moving the team to Houston.
We appreciate your concerns for the Coyotes remaining in Matthews hometown.
Hey Trump, I’m ANTIFA.

Doesn't have to be Arizona, Matthews just wants to get far, far away from the manic Leaf fans.

They boo his good pal and fellow American Gardiner (and Austin knows Leafers have always done this to Leaf players).

They expect Leaf players to take one for the team with discounts and rail against them when they don't.

They get themselves sky high every summer with expectations and freak the fuck out when they aren't met in the spring.

It's common knowledge that he hates The Cock and not so commonly known that he secretly resents Tavares.

He hates the way Dubass nickles-and-dimes Leaf players and Shanahan lies about how Wings players took discounts back in the day.

Yeahno, Matthews is biding his time until the day he can break away and return to the land of the free and home of the brave...

And oh yeah, the curse...

Matthews well knows of "The Curse of Harold Ballard".

That's because I've sent him... and many other Leaf players... letters over the years.

The Leaves are cursed to never again win a Cup due to the way Leafers have always maligned this great man in life as well as death.

I'm sure Austin is already wondering if the curse is true and soon he will be completely convinced, at which point he's gonzo alonzo...

LOL. He was a convicted felon, children were molested on his watch, and he tried to block the Canucks from entering the NHL.

Big acquisition for the playoffs. Nice cap hit and signed through next season.
D got better without moving Nylander, Kapanen, Sandin. Liljegren.

Liljegren is flailing away, down down down he goes...

Sandin, who the fuck knows, but he's years away.

Nylander overpaid, Kapanen will be next year.

Muzzin is yet another lefty and The Cock hates to play guys on their off-side.

They gave up their best prospect in Grundstrom and 2018 52nd o/a Durzi is a fine looking RSD.

That first rounder traded away is not lotto-protected!

Got Mother Hubbard cupboards now and no first rounder this year.

And cap hell just got hellier for next season...

Jets and Boston gonna have to match em now and trade for Alexander Edler.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

I like how you ignore how terrific Sandin looks this year.

Nylander is getting better and better every game. Looked terrific against Washington.

Why would LA ever accept a lottery protected pick from a team that high in the standings? LOL. Lottery protection is never done for teams that high in the standings.

Cupboards are bare aside from Bracco, Sandin, Liljegren,

Nylander is worth maybe half what he gets.

Hopefully that pick ends up being #1 O/A.

No way Bracco or Liljegren ever make it to the bigs.

Sandin? Too soon to tell.

Players will need to be moved out at a discount in the off-season when Leaves are over the cap with Matthews/Marner new contracts.

Yes, a layer in 2019 who gets 61 points each of his first 2 years is worth 3.45 million... Drouin got 5.5 with a smaller cap and 1 single 50 point season.
Nylander had a higher PPG avg than Draisaitl, who got 8.5 million per.

No one needs to be moved. You have no idea what you are talking about. And Liljegren can make the bigs this year.

It's a decent trade for your team, Tuna. Your D gets better.
You will have to move at least one, maybe two players you don't want to before next year though.
The cap is going up but not enough to cover your collection.
Team discounts are more of an illusion then a reality and cups can't be guaranteed.
