The kids are going to have to learn to endure being targets.
How many times have the Canucks played Crosby hard and cheap to neutralize him?
They will develop, in the meantime, to look after the horibly cheap, Gudbranson, Virtanan, Rousel, Beagle.......

Sure but lets just hope they dont rack up too many concussions before they become self aware of their bulls eye status

I'm trying to recall a parallel where this has been an issue and how the players or teams addressed it.Topper wrote: ↑Mon Dec 24, 2018 3:59 pmHow long have they been playing?Uncle dans leg wrote: ↑Mon Dec 24, 2018 3:33 pmSure but lets just hope they dont rack up too many concussions before they become self aware of their bulls eye status
I suppose the most recent comparable would be crosby and malkin and crosby did have injury issues. Malkin is a tank though but crosby is roughly boesers size.
They didnt load up on knuckle draggers so youre right there.

Find the Team Canada thread, Mickey Memes.

These guys have been playing since they were kids with smaller kids always being targeted. It isn't something they suddenly meet with in the NHL though the skill levels are more equal in the NHL than anywhere else they have played.Uncle dans leg wrote: ↑Wed Dec 26, 2018 7:59 amI'm trying to recall a parallel where this has been an issue and how the players or teams addressed it.Topper wrote: ↑Mon Dec 24, 2018 3:59 pmHow long have they been playing?Uncle dans leg wrote: ↑Mon Dec 24, 2018 3:33 pmSure but lets just hope they dont rack up too many concussions before they become self aware of their bulls eye status

Elias mentioned it in his afterhour interview. He's always had slight build and has had to learn to play with it.
I see the same arguments come up about fitness. These kids have been in the gym with trainers since they were 10 or younger. Hell, my 8 year old son does an hourto an hour and a half work out 5 days a week for his cycling just to try to keep up with his peers. The top riders he's competing with have person trainers and workout plans they are on. At eight years of age, and they have been on these plans for 2 - 3 years. It is fucking stupid what some of these parents have their kids are doing.
