Or else end up in Tacoma.
Haha, Corny. At least you can laugh about it now.

Grabbed a second set of wheels with some Kumho AT51s on them that I’ll use for the winter. I’ll probably put a set of Wildpeaks on the other wheels, dropping down to 16” rims or more rubber now!Topper wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 11:30 pmjust a GMAaronp18 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 3:47 pm Tops, is the truck you posted in Hockey Talk the next purchase?
Nice looking rig for sure, doesn't look like the fuel economy will be much better than a Taco. Will they make a diesel version?
I'll be shopping everywhere when the time comes. Figure I have a year or so before this becomes a company truck for maintenance that I buy off myself and then likely lease something through the company as well. Don't need the write offs right now as we start out but will soon enough.
as long as the 6sd transmission on mine holds up.... I'll keep driving it
Put a new set of Dura tracs on it a couple of weeks ago. Moved roughly 9 tonnes of dirt with it last week in thirteen 0.5 cubic metre loads.
I just wish there was a bit more room, driving all through the Okanagan for hockey games now I want room for the kids in the cab and just to toss the gear in the bed. In the taco all they do is elbow each other in the ribs and it just drives me nuts!
Re: My Truck...
Just had AT51s put on my truck. Reviews on these were good. Will see.
Less Canucks embarrassment please.

I’m getting snow tires for my car too.
$1,000 with rims or $1,200 if I want the tire pressure gizmo added.

6 ply for the LTs.
4 ply if you get the P rating.

That's what I thought. 2 ply sidewall and a lack of siping means a no go for me.
Aaron, still have a Taco? I went to 16" rims on mine and run 235/85/16.

They have the same engine, hp and torque as your mini trucks and your ikea junk stays dry instead of out in the rain

Re: My Truck...
This is a colossal pile of shit! Ever towed with AWD or FWD? Even with the same engine it reduces towing capacity immediately. The Sienna's towing capacity = 3500lbs (wouldn't ever get close to that), the Tacoma's capacity = 6500lbs (still wouldn't get close which is why I want something a little bigger next time).Uncle dans leg wrote: ↑Mon Oct 22, 2018 4:27 pmThey have the same engine, hp and torque as your mini trucks and your ikea junk stays dry instead of out in the rain

Re: My Truck...
Holy fuck Aaron getting all fired up lol! Nobodys making you drive a minivan hahaha
My personal opinion is diesels are for towing, gassers for daily driving. I had a gmc 3500 and I never worked that plant anywhere near capacity towing a 27ft travel trailer.
Diesels run best under load so if you only yank your shit around here or there then get a gasser
