Friedman now backing off Lombardi rumors due to him saying he is with the Flyers 3 more years.
He said he was contacted by one NHL team and when asked if it was the Canucks, he said no comment.

No reason Benning can't designate people to do certain parts of all the organisational duties and be the super boss.

a) Who does Aqua-man think he is, Donald Trump? What's with the twitter thing? It'd be nice to see him hold a press conference, speaks directly to the fans/ticket holders and field some tough questions from the media.

This is the new paradigm for mass communication: bypass the mainstream media and either go through corporate-owned media or communicate directly through social media. Much more comfortable for them than dealing with uncomfortable questions from a professionally skeptical corps of journalists. No doubt Linden signed some kind of gag arrangement as part of the ‘amicable’ parting of ways.
