Still prefer to insult than respond to the question I see...
Not an "insult" per se.
Topper is trying to help you, don't bite the hand that feeds you.
We can only lead you to water, we can't make you drink...
BTW... are you a secret Muslim?
Not an "insult".
Honest question.
Lol that was as helpful as telling a guy in the desert he needs water...
It was an honest question though, if it's a logical fallacy or more accurately a dirty trick to use a reductio ad hitlerum in a debate and a according Godwin's law a sign that the debate has been lost, then why does the rule not apply in the political opposite sense?
Some people around here who shall remain nameless are very free with the communist label. It seems remarkably close to an RAH. I'm just wondering if some on the other side of the divide had something interesting to add to the observation?
As for being a secret Muslim. Not a chance,
1. I already hate myself enough as a Catholic.
2. I could never pray five times a day it would bore me and go against my rebel self.
3. Pork is awesome
4. Sex
5. Drugs
6. Rock and Roll
Not necessarily in that order.
(Ps) I know what you're trying to do.
so when you try to throw this post back in my face at a later date when you've tried to goad me into defending Islam please include this comment as well.
I work with Muslims have been doing so since 2008 in London. I didn't know any Muslims at the time but I've discovered that by and large they are awesome people if a little conservative and about a hundred years behind secularism.
I used to work in fort St. John with Mennonites and they are almost exactly the same.
People are people everywhere you go...
Incidently not only here but on Facebook as well I've noticed a lot of my fellow British Columbians are increasingly Islamaphobic. But at least as late 2008 there wasn't really a large Muslim presence there. Obviously there must be a few mosques in greater Vancouver but nothing like the Sikh population has developed throughout BC and Canada Consequently I'm wondering how many people back home have developed their opinion from Fox News and the like and not from personal experience.
Same would go with Americans who probably couldn't tell a Muslim or a Sikh apart
